Bright Knight Solutions (Pty) Ltd operates a voice-note transcription service that transcribes audio sent to its connected WhatsApp account and returns the resulting text to the sender.

Information processed

When you send a message, the service may process your WhatsApp phone number, message metadata, and the audio contained in a voice note.

How information is used

The information is used only to receive the voice note, create a transcript, and send that transcript back to you. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes.

Service providers

Messages and media are handled through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. Voice-note audio is sent to OpenAI's transcription service solely to generate the requested transcript. Those providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Retention and security

Downloaded audio is stored only in a temporary file while transcription is in progress and is deleted when processing finishes, including when processing fails. The service does not intentionally maintain a database of messages, audio files, or transcripts. Limited operational logs may be retained by the service host and providers for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time. To request deletion of information that may remain in operational systems, follow the data deletion instructions.
